Filmfare Responds To Kangana Ranaut’s Allegations, Withdraws Actress Name From Nomination

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut makes more headlines due to her statements than her professional life. The name of the actress comes, which is bound to get associated with some controversy. Recently, Kangana was nominated in the category of Best Actress for Filmfare, one of Bollywood’s biggest awards.

Kangana got this nomination for her film ‘Thalaivi’. The actress received a lot of praise from everyone for ‘Thalaivi’. However, when Kangana got this news, she started blaming the magazine. Responding to the actress, Filmfare has withdrawn her nomination.

The Filmfare Association has also issued a statement. The association said – It has always been happening in Filmfare, whenever someone is nominated, their address is asked to invite them. The Filmfare Executive Editor sent a message to Kangana Ranaut informing her about her nomination. Filmfare has also presented evidence of this. The Filmfare Association has also shared a copy of the message sent to Kangana Ranaut.

Kangana has also shared her reaction on this decision of the magazine. She wrote that – Filmfare has finally withdrawn my Best Actress nomination, thanks to all those who supported me in this fight against this corrupt system but it does not stop me from taking legal action against them. My endeavor is to put an end to these unethical practices and to stop such malicious award shows. See you in court.
