Success Story Of IAS Topper Gunjan Singh: Today, we will tell you the story of Gunjan Singh, who became an IAS officer, who left a job with a package of lakhs for the dream of UPSC. Gunjan, who did engineering from IIT Roorkee, went to teach poor children in a nearby village during her internship. Seeing the poor condition of those children, she decided to help such people by going to the civil service. The UPSC journey was quite a struggle for Gunjan. But she did not give up and fulfilled his dream of becoming an IAS in the third attempt.

Ever dreamed of becoming an engineer
Gunjan hails from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Her early studies also took place here. You will be surprised to know that till Intermediate, Gunjan’s dream was to become an engineer. For this, she worked hard and after passing JEE examination got admission in IIT Roorkee. Even in the initial days of graduation, she was not interested in UPSC, but gradually his inclination grew in this direction and by the last year he decided to prepare for UPSC.

UPSC’s journey was a struggle
Gunjan’s UPSC journey was a struggle. She had to face failure in the first 2 attempts here. After getting education from an institute like IIT and leaving a job worth lakhs, when she failed, she got a little disappointed. But during this time her family motivated her and inspired her to move forward. Gunjan considers her mother as an inspiration for UPSC. Finally, in the third attempt, she threw all her strength and fulfilled his dream by securing the 16th rank.

Gunjan’s advice to other candidates
Gunjan Singh believes that every person should prepare a better plan for UPSC preparation. If you prepare without a plan, you will deviate from the right path and you will not be able to complete the syllabus.
