The Indian Postal Payments Bank (IPPB) has recently announced a recruitment process for 650 posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) for 2022. This recruitment will be conducted in UP and Bihar, with a maximum of vacancies in each state. The selection process will be based on the merit of the applicants and the recruitment will be done as per the Government of India’s rules and regulations. This article provides an insight into the eligibility criteria, vacancies details, application process, selection process, and important dates related to the recruitment process.

Introduction to IPPB GDS Recruitment

The Indian Postal Payments Bank (IPPB) has recently announced a recruitment process for 650 posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS). The main aim of the recruitment is to provide employment opportunities to the youth of UP and Bihar. The maximum vacancies will be offered in UP and Bihar. This recruitment process is conducted in compliance with the rules and regulations of the Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligible candidates for the recruitment process should meet the following criteria:

  1. The applicant should be a citizen of India.
  2. The applicant should have completed 10th standard from a recognized board.
  3. The applicant should have a valid identity proof such as an Aadhaar card, passport, or voter ID card.
  4. The applicant should have a valid bank account.
  5. The applicant should be between the age of 18 and 40 years.

Vacancies Details

The recruitment process will offer a total of 650 vacancies for Gramin Dak Sevaks in UP and Bihar. The maximum vacancies will be offered in UP and Bihar. The other states where the vacancies are available are Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and West Bengal.

Application Process

The interested candidates should apply for the recruitment process through the official website of the IPPB. The applicants should fill the application form and submit it along with the required documents. The applicants should also pay the application fee as per the rules of the recruitment process.

Selection Process

The selection process for the recruitment process will be based on the merit of the applicants. The applicants will be shortlisted based on their academic performance and other criteria set by the recruitment process. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview process.

The IPPB GDS recruitment process will begin on 1st April 2022 and the last date to apply for the recruitment process is 30th
