Tragedy strikes in the Malayalam film industry. Leading actress Ambika Rao (58) has died of a heart attack. She was treated at a private hospital in Ernakulam and passed away at 10.30 pm on Monday. The Malayalam film industry was shocked by the death of Ambika Rao. Celebrities are mourning the loss of her soul.
Ambika Rao is best known for her role in ‘Kumbalangi Nights’. She started her career as an assistant director in 2002 with the film ‘Krishna Gopalakrishna’ directed by Balachandra Menon. She has been in the film industry for almost two decades. Her latest films ‘Kaduva’ and ‘Virus’ will be released soon. Mohanlal, Mammootty, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Tovino Thomas recalled their association with Ambika Rao and expressed their condolences.
