The Maserati car is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that is mated to a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. A small battery pack mounted in the boot has helped Maserati manage the power to weight ratio of the Levante Hybrid. In addition, this powertrain has made the car faster, lighter and more fuel efficient than the v6 model.

This engine is capable of generating 330 bhp power and 450 newton meter torque. Interestingly, the all-wheel-drive Levante Hybrid accelerates from zero to 100 kmph in six seconds and has a top speed of 240 kmph.
