Nirmal Soni was born in Rajasthan and moved to Mumbai in the late 1970s to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. He later became a prominent figure in the Gujarati theatre scene, appearing in numerous plays. He was also a part of several Gujarati and Hindi films, including Kora Kagaz and Humse Badhkar Kaun.
