Reliance Family Day 2022: Mukesh Ambani, the head of the country’s most prestigious business group Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), has expressed confidence that the country can become a $ 40 trillion economy by the 100th anniversary of India’s independence. Mukesh Ambani said on the occasion of Family Day that 45 years ago, the founder of Reliance Industries, Dhiru Bhai Ambani had planted the seed of this banyan tree. This company is growing like a ‘Banyan tree’. He said, the branches of this banyan tree of Reliance Industries will spread even wider and the roots will be deeper.
Reliance will focus on these five sectors
Ambani also lauded the leadership of his son Akash Ambani and daughter Isha Ambani, who head Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail, respectively. He also mentioned on the occasion 5 key sectors on which the company will focus in the coming 25 years.
1. 5G Telecom
Mukesh Ambani said that under the leadership of Akash Ambani, Reliance’s 5G is spreading across the country in a very short time. He said that by the end of 2023, Jio will have 5G network across the country. This speed is the highest compared to any other country in the world. With 5G we can now ensure that no Indian is denied access to high quality education, high quality healthcare and high productivity economic activities.
2. Retail Sector
The second sector that Ambani mentioned is the retail sector, which is being led by Isha Ambani. Mukesh Ambani claimed that under Isha’s leadership, RIL’s retail business “has grown exponentially”. Reliance Retail has created over two lakh new jobs last year, making it one of India’s leading employers. With the help of Reliance Retail, our youth will have more jobs. The income of our farmers will be more. Our SMEs and large manufacturers will become more productive. And our business-partners will be more prosperous.
3. O2C business
O2C ie Isle to Business is the core business of Reliance. Mukesh Ambani said that we will continue to maintain our leadership position in the O2C business with new capabilities. He added that in the E&P segment, our team is working hard to provide energy security for India. He said Reliance is excited about the media and entertainment business and its integration with digital services. Which will completely change the industry.
4. New Energy
Mukesh Ambani said that New Energy, Reliance’s newest start-up business, has the potential to transform not only the company or the country, but the entire world. It shows that we care about the world, and we care about everyone in the world.
