Royal Enfield has introduced four custom made bikes modeled on the Classic 350 to promote custom design based motorcycles. The bike maker has over the years worked with several leading custom-builders across the globe to create custom bikes and introduce the finest and most exciting custom models of their motorcycles.
As part of this Custom World initiative, Royal Enfield today unveils four custom build motorcycles based on its new Classic 350 simultaneously across four locations – Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore. All these bikes are made by some of the most renowned and leading custom-builders in India. These include companies like Rajputana Custom Motorcycles, Old Delhi Motorcycle Company, Neev Motorcycles and MS Custom.
The Classic 350, customized by Rajputana Custom Motorcycles, traces the history of “Timeless Classic” motorcycles by Royal Enfield. Each custom part of this machine is hand made and takes inspiration from the old Royal Enfield motorcycles. From old school girder suspension to front and rear drum brakes, leather seats to velocity stack and footrests to new fuel tank, rear suspension, tool box and chassis, the motorcycle has been designed in a unique way to appeal.
Vijay Singh Ajayrajpura, a resident of Jaipur, customized his first motorcycle in his small garage almost a decade ago. Since then, Rajputana Custom has been creating more than one custom design of motorcycles in its workshop. Rajputana Custom’s custom made bikes have customers not only in India but across the globe.
Neve Motorcycles has named the custom model of the Classic 350 as ‘Divine’. The bike comes in a custom-made bobber design adorned with a matte black colour-scheme, gold pin-striping and gold leaf work on the tank. It comes with a custom swing arm, custom tank and mud guard, hand stitched leather seat. Thick tires have been installed in this bike which looks quite luxurious.
On the other hand, Old Delhi Motorcycles has named its custom made Classic 350 as ‘Delhi’. This bike has been painted yellow. At the same time, its headlight unit, handlebar, clutch, front suspension, seat, side panels and silencer have been completely changed. A passenger seat has been added on the left side of the bike, in which a wheel has been installed separately.
MS Customs has designed the Classic 350 as an ‘Urban Roadster’ bike that gives the feel of being a modern bike along with being a classic. The bike gets a 60s inspired headlight unit, custom tank, swing arms, wheels and tyres. The seat has been made by hand to give a more personalized look to the motorcycle.
Talking about Royal Enfield’s Classic 350, it is a middle weight bike which has been built on the company’s J series platform. This bike is powered by an air-cooled engine of 349 cc which generates 20.2 bhp power and 27 newton meter torque. The new model offers 1 bhp power and 1 newton meter torque less than the old model.
In the new avatar, the Classic 350 is available in 11 color options – Chrome Red, Chrome Bronze, Dark Stealth Black, Dark Gunmetal Grey, Signals Marsh Grey, Signals Sandstorm, Halcyon Green, Halcyon Black, Halcyon Grey, Redditch Green and Redditch Grey. . The Dark Edition model gets alloy wheels with black matte paint. Royal Enfield Classic 350 price in India starts from ₹ 1.90 Lakh (ex-showroom).
