1. The UPSC CAPF AC 2022 notification was released on May 5th, 2021.
2. The exam is scheduled to be held on August 8th, 2021.
3. The last date to submit the application form is June 25th, 2021.
4. The application process is completely online.
5. The exam will be conducted in both English and Hindi.
6. The exam will be conducted in two stages: written exam and physical exam.

10 Special Things to Know

1. The exam is conducted for the selection of Assistant Commandants in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).
2. The exam is conducted in three stages – written exam, physical test and medical test.
3. The written exam consists of two papers – General Ability and Intelligence Test.
4. The General Ability Test is of 250 marks and the Intelligence Test is of 200 marks.
5. The physical test consists of a physical efficiency test, obstacle race and a medical test.
6. Candidates must meet the age, educational qualification and physical standards as prescribed by the UPSC.
7. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer in the written exam.
8. The selection process is based on a merit list that is prepared after the written exam and physical test.
9. The selected candidates will be appointed as Assistant Commandants in the CAPF.
10. The selected candidates will be given a salary of Rs. 56,100/- to Rs. 1,77,500/- per month.
