UPSC IFS Result 2021: UPSC IFS final result released

UPSC IFS Result 2021: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the result of Indian Forest Service Exam 2021. Total 108 candidates have been selected in which 30 candidates are from General, 14 EWL, 40 OBC, 16 SC, 08 SC category. The exam result has been released on the basis of performance in IFS main exam and interview.

The main exam was conducted from February 27 to March 6. The interviews of successful candidates were conducted in the month of June. Shruti has topped the exam. Vardaraj Gaongar is in second place and A Prabhanjan Reddy is in third place.

Let us tell you that every year UPSC conducts the Forest Service exam. One has to clear UPSC Civil Services Prelims to appear in Forest Services Main exam. That is, the prelims exam of both the competitive exams is common. After clearing the prelims, the main exam of IFS is conducted separately. Successful candidates in the main examination are called for interview.

The total number of chances to appear in UPSC IFS exam has been fixed at a maximum of 6. However, 9 opportunities are given to OBC candidates and there is no limit on the number of opportunities for SC/ST candidates.
