Niti Taylor is a much-loved TV actress who made her debut more than a decade ago in the original ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’ as the bubbly Naina. More recently, Niti has wrapped up her stint as Prachi Kapoor, the sweet protagonist of BALH 2 Season 2.
While the second season of BALH 2 did not even come close to the rousing success of season 1, with Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar stepping into the shoes of Ram and Priya, the show is saved by a return of the originals in a third season with a completely new story. That said, viewers really appreciated Niti’s portrayal of Ram and Priya’s daughter Prachi, a kind girl looking to create a loving family around her.
Due to the second season not doing so well as the first, the story was wrapped up rather quickly when the showmakers decided to bring back Nakuul and Disha for a third season. Now her fans are left wondering – what’s next for Niti?
Before BALH 2, Niti ranked 7th in ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10’. And in December 2022, we saw Niti reunite with Parth Samthaan for season 4 of Voot’s ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan’, the show that catapulted Niti into fame and recognition back in 2014. As of now, we don’t know when Niti Taylor will be back on our screens.
So far, she has not confirmed any new projects that might be in the pipeline. But Niti said in an interview a month or so ago that while OTT offers a lot of variety, she is not open to doing intimate scenes anymore because she is married. Niti says that her mantra is simple – if she cannot see her husband do a particular thing, she won’t do it as well. We’re guessing that includes intimate scenes.
While we may not know when Niti Taylor will appear again on our TV screens, we do know what she is up to, thanks to her social media presence. She is someone who likes to keep her fans updated and posts quite regularly. Lately, Niti has been promoting the online casino and betting site Fairplay. Talking about the ending of the BALH 2 Season 2 track in an interview, Niti claimed that when a show goes off-air because of low ratings, it’s never just an actor’s fault. She also believes that, most likely, the show and the overall story failed to connect with the audience. We tend to agree. In the case of BALH 2, the audience was simply too deeply enthralled by Ram and Priya’s chemistry and too devastated to lose them to care about what’s going on with the other characters they left behind.
