Classic Legends-owned motorcycle manufacturer Yezdi Motorcycles has returned to the Indian automobile market after a long hiatus. The company launched its new motorcycle range in India on January 13, which includes Roadster, Adventure and Scrambler bikes. In India, all three motorcycles of Yezdi will compete directly with the bikes of Royal Enfield.

Yezdi Roadster is offered in five color options. Its price starts from Rs 1.98 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.06 lakh.

The design of the Yezdi Roadster is inspired by the Yezdi bikes sold in the 80s-90s. This bike gets a glimpse of the old design with modern features and styling. The bike gets LED headlamps, integrated LED DRLs, LED tail lights and LED turn indicators. The bigger and taller windscreen has also been installed above the headlight of the bike. In terms of design, this bike looks like Jawa Classic 300.

Apart from this, the bike has been given a tear drop shape fuel tank, dual silencer, back rest, circular LED tail light, split seat, circular rear view mirror, and foot rest at comfortable position. The Yezdi Roadster gets a full digital instrument cluster, a circular instrument cluster that is stylish and displays a wide range of information. This information includes trip meter, gear position indicator, speedometer, odometer, tachometer etc. The bike also gets dual channel ABS with dual disc brakes. It also has a USB port for charging mobile phones or gadgets.

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been given a retro classic design. Recently, the company has introduced its new model with design and feature updates. The new Classic 350 gets a new circular LED headlight with pilot lamp, tail light, a 13-litre fuel tank in tear drop shape, split seats and tubular grab rails.

The new model has a semi-digital instrument console. The console gets a tripper navigation system for turn-by-turn navigation along with speedometer and trip meter. It has a small display in which the rider gets information about the direction. The Classic 350 gets the option to choose between a single channel and a dual channel ABS model.

Yezdi Roadster Vs Royal Enfield Classic 350- Engine

The Jawa Perak engine has been used in the Yezdi roadster. It is powered by a 334cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that churns out maximum power of 29.3 bhp and peak torque of 29 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 gets a 350cc single cylinder air-cooled engine which is derived from the Meteor 350. This engine generates a maximum power of 20.2 bhp and a peak torque of 27 Newton meters. The engine of the bike is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

Yezdi Roadster Vs Royal Enfield Classic 350 – Suspension, Tires & Brakes

The Yezdi roadster gets telescopic forks at the front and twin spring loaded suspension setup at the rear. Talking about the brakes, disc brakes of 320 mm are available at the front wheel and 240 mm at the rear. The bike gets 18-inch alloy wheels with 100/90 section tubeless tyres at the front and 17-inch alloy wheels with 130/80 section tyres at the rear. It weighs 184 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12.5 liters.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 gets telescopic forks at the front and spring loaded 6-step adjustable suspension setup at the rear. The bike comes with the option of disc brakes at the front and disc or drum brakes at the rear. The bike gets 19-inch alloy wheels with 100/90 section tyres at the front and 18-inch alloy wheels with 120/80 sector tyres at the rear. Both the tires are tubeless in the bike. The Classic 350 has a curb weight of 195 kg and fuel tank capacity of 13 litres.
