Vijay’s elder brother Chetan Anand, who made the films ‘Guide’, ‘Teessri Manzil’, ‘Jewel Theif’ and ‘Johny Mera Naam’, was the director-producer and Dev Anand was an actor-director. Together these three brothers made ‘Navketan Films’ and Vijay did most of the films under this banner.
